# UgCore.Version

> Require a minimum ug-core version.

## Get

```lua theme={null}
UgCore.Version.Get() -> version
```

<ResponseField name="version" type="string">ug-core's manifest version, such as `'1.4.2'`.</ResponseField>

## IsAtLeast

```lua theme={null}
UgCore.Version.IsAtLeast(minimum) -> boolean
```

<ResponseField name="minimum" type="string" required>Such as `'1.2.0'`. Raises on malformed versions.</ResponseField>

Compares major, minor and patch as numbers. Pre-release suffixes are ignored.

## Require

```lua theme={null}
UgCore.Version.Require(minimum)
```

Raises when ug-core is older:

```text theme={null}
[ug-core] my-bank requires ug-core 1.2.0 or newer, found 1.0.0. Update ug-core.
```

Logs one warning when ug-core has a newer major version.

## In the manifest

```lua fxmanifest.lua theme={null}
ug_core_version '1.2.0'
```
